Dandelion Dreams Total Sleep Mask System Review - Sweet Road Trip Dreams

AddThis Social Bookmark Button

As a mom of two little rambunctious, high-energy boys, I value my sleep…tremendously. So when I was sent The Total Sleep Mask System by Dandelion Dreams, Inc., I couldn't have been more excited…excited to head to dreamland! Uninterrupted sleep? Sign this mama up.

I tested out The Total Sleep Mask System for the first time on our road trip to the Outer Banks in North Carolina earlier this summer. That road trip was two long days of driving for 8 hours with constant requests to this Mommy for snacks…and water…and tablets…and directions…and more. But once the kiddos were content for a few minutes (and Daddy had directions to the next pit stop), I grabbed my new, cozy travel eye mask and signed off in the passenger seat for a much needed nap.

And wow. Not only was the Total Sleep Mask System super plush, but it drowned out the highway noise, the podcasts, all of the daylight, and the kids saying "mom" on repeat. I couldn't remember a time when I slept that deeply on a road trip!

It must be how it is designed to not only cover your eyes (without smudging your make up, by the way) but also to cover your entire ear without putting pressure on the face. There are customizable cheek guards, earplugs included to reduce outside sound even further, and bamboo blend fabric which wicks away any moisture while you sleep on the go.

But, don't get me wrong. This is not just a travel necessity. It's an at home necessity too…I use it to catch some zzzz's while my husband is up late watching Sports Center on TV or when he & the kids are getting rowdy at home and I need a quick cat nap escape! But, my favorite time to use this mask is when I have a migraine headache and a sliver of light or the slightest sound can make my life miserable. The Total Sleep Mask System shuts out the surrounding noise and light around me helping me relax and recover faster.

Now, if I could just keep my husband's hands off it! He has also discovered how wonderful the Total Sleep Mask System is and now often snags it before I get the chance to . . . especially to drown out the neighbor's dog who barks almost all night every night. We received the classic black Total Sleep Mask System but I see a wild leopard sleep system in my near future too…that is if I ever want to use it again!

The Total Sleep Mask System can be found at dandeliondreamsinc.com and retails for $49.99…and really, isn't one uninterrupted nap worth at least that? This tired mama thinks so!
