Paris Fashion Week: Ziad Nakad Fall/Winter Collection - Ultra-Feminine, Romantic, Elegant

International designer Ziad Nakad debuted his Fall/Winter 2019-2020 Haute Couture collection during Paris Fashion Week unveiling a breathtaking line inspired by an ancient mosaic that brought together pattern, shapes, and created sparkling imagery as each garment moved along the runway.

Nakad’s signature ultra-feminine styling, formal wear of stunning creation and showstopping inspiration, he added an unusual combination formal silk pantsuit with a flowing lace vest/top and train. Gorgeous, elegant, dazzling and functional for high end, exclusive events.

Inspired by Tessera, the ancient mosaic, the couture collection is an ode to architecture and geometry. Sizes marked, oversize sleeves, asymmetrical, which are a true technical feat while giving an impression of lightness in resolutely feminine outfits.

The embroidery punctuates the silhouettes, such as "tessellas" and "tesserulas" whose assembly reveals an aerial mosaic. It is this assemblage that inspired the creator of the title of the collection by alliteration.

A colorful collection, from blue to red, from gold to silver with black tips. Always concerned about high quality, Ziad Nakad offers tulles that mingle with rags, lace and velvet, giving his creations an architectural and modern dimension, reminding us if it was necessary his mastery of the cuts and volumes.

Each gown radiated, a testament to his ability to marry fabrics with trimming and for a mosaic, the shimmering beads, feathers, creating flow and imagery.

Magnificent.
