From the Page Six Team

Since Memorial Day, hot spots from the Hamptons to St. Barts have hummed to the sounds of private jets and superyachts being fired up, house parties, plus Champagne-spraying going into hyperdrive.

On the latest Page Six Best of Summer, we look at who went overboard and who were the selfless heroes of the season.

Most bizarre celebrity health fad of the summer: Gwyneth Paltrow and her Goop summit

The award has to go to the goddess of Goop, she who brought us the jade vagina eggs, the $15,000 golden dildo and the timeless "conscious uncoupling." This summer, a strong stomach was certainly required for Gwyneth's June "In Goop Health" summit, where wellness experts gave advice on how to heal "the mother wound" and warned that taking an Advil "is like swallowing a hand grenade."

Runners-up

Cindy Barshop: While Middle America frets over the future of Medicaid, the "Real Housewives of New York City" alum is peddling such health treatments as "v-tightening," the Vampire Breast Lift and "vajacials" to ladies on the Upper East Side. If you want to know what they are, you're on your own.

Lena Dunham: What is it with Lena Dunham and putting foreign objects in other people's lady parts? The "Girls" star is into yoni eggs — small crystals which are inserted into the vagina. She posted in June, "Friendship is magic, much like this crystal sex egg I forced on @aidybryant."

Shailene Woodley: How about Shailene's trick of "sunning her vagina"? She told Into the Gloss, "Another thing I like to do is give my vagina a little vitamin D. [Laughs] . . . when the sun finally comes out, spread your legs and get some sunshine." She first revealed this a while ago, but since it is summer, we imagine Shailene is out there somewhere, soaking up that vitamin D.

Celeb heroes of summer: Ariana Grande, Sandra Bullock and the heroes of Tropical Storm Harvey

Ariana Grande showed astonishing compassion visiting fans in the hospital and organizing the moving One Love concert in June to help victims of the Manchester, UK, bombing that happened at her concert in May. The show, and Grande, defiantly went on despite another attack in London on the eve of the concert.

Sandra Bullock donated $1 million to help the victims of Tropical Storm Harvey this week. The actress pledged $1 million to the American Red Cross' relief efforts. "There are no politics in 8 feet of water. There are human beings in 8 feet of water," said the actress, who lives in Austin, Texas.

Kevin Hart also issued a $1 million challenge on social media for Red Cross Harvey relief, contributing $50,000 and calling upon famous friends such as Nicki Minaj, DJ Khaled and Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson — all of whom donated $25,000 — as well as Chris Rock , Jerry Seinfeld, Beyoncé, T.I. and Justin Timberlake to also contribute. Kim Kardashian said her family would donate $500,000, and Chris Young gave $100,000.

Chance the Rapper: He donated $1 million from his spring tour to his hometown Chicago's public school system to fund arts education.

Shannen Doherty: We never imagined the "Beverly Hills, 90210" star would make a list of heroes, but here she is, having publicly battled breast cancer. In April, she announced she was in remission, having undergone chemo and radiotherapy, then went back to work on TV series "Heathers."

Real estate deal of the summer: Howard Lutnick

That sigh of relief you heard in late July was Barbara Zweig, having finally sold the Pierre hotel's penthouse apartment after four years on the market. Cantor Fitzgerald CEO Lutnick picked it up for $44 million after the price was dropped by a stunning $81 million. Owning a piece of Manhattan's skyline must feel so good, especially after an $81 million discount.

Runners-up

Only in the Hamptons. A buyer paid $25 million for 32 Middle Lane in East Hampton — and it's a fixer-upper. "It needs a lot of work, but it will be beautiful when it is done," a source told The Post. One would hope.

Frank Fertitta III: The billionaire and former UFC owner scored an expensive $70 million penthouse on Central Park at 520 Park Ave., after he and his brother sold their stake in the sport for $4 billion.

Harry Macklowe: As billionaires everywhere know, it's best not to skimp on the love shack for your French mistress. Divorcing real estate mogul Macklowe dropped $10.6 million for an East Hampton hideaway for him and new love Patricia Landeau as he still battles out his ugly divorce with his wife of 57 years, Linda.

Most ostentatious use of a yacht: Evan Spiegel

As Snap stock tanked, Spiegel ducked out of the office for a three-week sail around Europe in July, infuriating investors. He sailed with his bro buddies on the 70-meter superyacht Joy, which rents for up to $967,415 a week. As he sailed, Snap stocks were down nearly 30 percent as analysts criticized the company's inability to "innovate . . . this year."

Kim Wall Murder: Peter Madsen - Mad Scientist or King of the Fetish

Eugene Shvidler, Ernesto Bertarelli and Reinhold Würth: Three tycoons mistook America's greatest symbol of freedom for a parking lot. Russian-born Eugene Shvidler irritated New Yorkers by parking his 370-foot yacht in front of the Statue of Liberty for two months until late June. Then Swiss-Italian Ernesto Bertarelli staked his claim on the spot, blocking tourists' views from the water with his 318-foot yacht Vava II in July. Then, in August, the Vibrant Curiosity, the 265-foot yacht of the aptly named "screw king," German tycoon Reinhold Würth, took the spot, screwing people out of a shot of Lady Liberty.

Magic Johnson: He spent a three-week vacay on a $700,000-a-week yacht with family and Samuel L. Jackson in the Mediterranean.

Swan of summer: Karlie Kloss

Yes, she's one of the world's top models, who revealed Wednesday that she'll return to the Victoria's Secret fashion show. But she's also spent her summer hosting Kode With Klossy camps to teach teen girls programming languages and web development. While conquering the world of fashion, she's found a real way to boost girls' skills and confidence.

Kaia Gerber: The 15-year-old model daughter of Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber has landed her first Vogue cover, shared a family vacation in Canada with the likes of Harry Styles and Madison Beer, and will be taking September's New York Fashion Week by storm.

Simone Biles: A year after winning her all-around gold in Rio, she competed on "Dancing With the Stars," got her first boyfriend, is the subject of a Lifetime biopic, and is back in the gym, but isn't announcing a return to gymnastics — yet.

Tiffany Trump: The president's daughter has managed to sidestep a lot of political drama, enjoy her summer with low-key trips to the Hamptons and Italy (albeit with Secret Service agents in tow), and now she's starting law school at Georgetown University.

For the latest celebrity news and happenings stay tuned to Page Six TV headed for national syndication on Monday, September 18th. Check local listings.
