President Donald Trump responded to the Tree of Life shooting with a decree ordering all federal buildings, domestic and abroad, to fly the American flag at half-mast in honor of those murdered in yet another merciless massacre.

According to Gallup, President Trump job approval, over the past week, increased by one percentage point to 44% of those polled who approve of his effectiveness as President and those who disapprove of his effectiveness as President decreased by three percentage points to 50%.

Trump Midterm Stump

President Trump is hitting the campaign trail again this week to stump for Republican candidates who are expected to win big come November.

"We have a lot of Senate races where we're leading — races that, frankly, were going to be uncontested.  It looks like we're leading a lot of those races.  The House is — got a lot of people in the House, so we're going to see how that goes.  But I think we're doing very well in the House," Trump said.

Refugee Caravan - Human Rights Crisis or Showdown at US Border

President Donald Trump has ordered US Military to the border, as the refugee caravan who paused in Mexico continued walking many from as far south as Guatemala, to stop the group from gaining admittance into the United States.

Trump who has never acknowledged an in-depth knowledge of American history, appears to be unaware of the words inscribed on the plague at the Statute of Liberty.

The New Colossus, a poem, written by Emma Lazarus, was a fundraising effort to raise monies for the pedestal of Lady Liberty. A stanza is below.

"Keep, ancient lands, your storied pomp!" cries she
With silent lips. "Give me your tired, your poor,
Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,
The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.
Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me,
I lift my lamp beside the golden door!"

If ever a group matched the words inscribed it isthe ever growing caravan of Latin American refugees is continuing to gather more of the politically persecuted, tired, poor, despondent, quite possible for the first time in many decades, an actual huddle mass yearning for freedom.

Illegal aliens crossing the border is not a new issue as each of the last four presidents have faced what has called the politically breaking crisis. For former President Obama is was Border Babies, a show of desperation if ever there was one.

The newest crisis the refugee caravan is unlike any seen recently. Not waiting for the cover of night, paying per head for a dangerous trip across the Rio Grande, dropped inside a sweat box hoping the lack of oxygen won't kill everyone before they reach some Texan town somewhere. These, whose determination, to walk with a dwindling sense of dignity, to be seen for who they are, a huddle mass yearning to be free, walking to our doors and into one of the most volatile political seasons in recent history.

President Trump, who prides himself on his hardline political refugee position, has sent the US military in what will no doubt be a showdown. The US military armed with weapons, may have been told to engage should any attempts be made to cross into the United States.

The United States Is Not Europe

Over the past five years global conflicts have resulted in a mass exodus from nations like Syria where nearly 1million refugees migrated into Europe. Initially the five nations surrounding Syrian accepted many refuges, placing them in refugee camps, partially funded by the United States.

The camps ranged from pristine to shanty towns, with Jordan's a model for refugee camps globally. When the additional cost per citizen became prohibitive, as the host nation became responsible for medical benefits, unemployment, education, food, housing, basic needs and necessities, the camps where deemed at capacity. Those who waited in Syria hoping for a peace treaty, or who simply didn't want to leave, were forced to flee even further to European nations.

Latin American Refugees hoping to find an open door policy in the United States are unfortunately in for an rude awakening. The United States is not Europe and it is doubtful, the current administration will allow one refugee into the United States without following the established rules.

Will there be a processing center to allow United States Immigration officials to field potential cases? A case by case determination should be made. Will the US shown some hospitality to the tired, the poor, the huddle masses yearning to be free?

The only answer that comes to mind is one written on the back of the First lady's jacket in June when she traveled to the US-Mexican border, which read, "I really don't care do you?"

Britain/Khashoggi Connection

Nearly one month has passed since Jamal Khashoggi walked into the Saudi embassy in Turkey and was murdered by a hit squad that had been waiting for the Washington Post reporter who needed documentation to marry his fiancée.

What followed is only known to the 15 men hit squad who had been ordered to kill Khashoggi. The world responded as the missing man, and United States citizen, who provided insights into the practices of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, who has been depicted as a ruthless killer, disarmingly charming, with deep black shark eyes, void of  feeling.

A world leader, the Crown Prince will inherit the throne and will rule the oil rich nation as he chooses, courting world leaders, silencing voices of dissension, and quieting any uprisings within his own nation.

Over the past four weeks, the Saudi narrative has continue to evolve from complete denial to admission of involvement, to denial of the Crown Prince's knowledge to admission that those who participated would be punished.

The most recent bombshell is of course the knowledge the Brit's knew an entire month before the incident as the elite Government Communications Headquarters, an intelligence and security organization, intercepted communique that included information regarding the abduction.

"Intercepts by GCHQ of internal communications by the kingdom's General Intelligence Directorate revealed orders by a "member of the royal circle" to abduct the troublesome journalist and take him back to Saudi Arabia. The orders, intelligence sources say, did not emanate directly from de facto ruler Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman, and it is not known if he was aware of them," reported Express.co.uk .

The information, the article goes on to explain, was forwarded to MI6, who had warned his Saudi Arabian counterparts to "cancel the mission."

"'On October 1 we became aware of the movement of a group, which included members of Ri'āsat Al-Istikhbārāt Al-'Āmah (GID) to Istanbul, and it was pretty clear what their aim was.  "Through channels we warned that this was not a good idea. Subsequent events show that our warning was ignored." Asked why MI6 had not alerted its Five Eye intelligence partner, the US (Khashoggi was a US citizen) the source said only: "A decision was taken that we'd done what we could,"' the Express said.

What is also known is that Khashoogi had planned to revel the ongoing existence of chemical weapon usage by the Saudi government against neighboring Yemen. An action which all nations understand places the Saudi's under pressure by the United States, the P5+1 nations, with the possibility of sanctions by the United Nations for violations of the proliferation of life treaties.

Mail Bomber

Accused mail bomber, Cesar Sayoc, a Florida resident whom the FBI have arrested in connection with a series of pipe bombs mailed out over the past week targeting democrats and those vocal critics of the Donald Trump Presidency.

Targeted were leaders of the Democratic party including former Presidential candidate and Former President Hillary and Bill Clinton, possible 2020 Presidential candidate Joe Biden, former President Barack Obama, Actor Robert DeNiro, Senator Cory Booker, James Clapper, former Director of National intelligence, and California Senator Kamala Harris. Also targeted Tom Steyer, a democratic donor. The News organization CNN and philanthropist George Soros were also targeted.

None of the intended targets were injured.

Relative of the accused said he had found a voice that he could relate to with President Trump, the message which the president delivered spoke to Sayoc and he felt a kindred spirit.

President Trump did commend the work of the FBI and Secret Service saying, "I just want to compliment law enforcement for having done an incredible job.  The FBI, the Secret Service — so many.  I mean, they just got together and did a fantastic job.  Like finding a needle in a haystack.  So I want to congratulate them, as you know.  I think everybody wants to congratulate them.  But they did a fantastic job."

"Your vote is more powerful than a bomb," the actor Robert DeNiro said this week as he also the target of violence.

Synagogue Shooting

President Donald Trump responded to the Tree of Life annihilation with a decree ordering all federal buildings, domestic and abroad, to fly the American flag at half-mast in honor of those murdered in yet another merciless massacre.

Eleven members of the Tree of Life Synagogue were murdered while they worshipped and prayed during a Bris or Hebrew baby naming ceremony.

"Among the eight men and three women killed were Rose Mallinger, a 97-year-old resident of the predominantly Jewish neighborhood; Cecil and David Rosenthal, two brothers in their 50s and the youngest of the victims; and Bernice Simon and her husband, Sylvan, both in their 80s. Also killed were Joyce Fienberg, 75; Richard Gottfried, 65; Jerry Rabinowitz, 66; Daniel Stein, 71; Melvin Wax, 88; and Irving Younger, 69," The Washington Post reported.

No children were among those senselessly massacred.

The shooter, Robert Bowers, who was wounded in the attack and crawled out of the Synagogue to surrender, was taken to an area hospital where he has been charged with 29 counts of federal hate crimes, among other charges.

The scene is reminiscent of every mass shooting high powered automatic weapons in the hands of someone who should not have them, chaos, unbelievable carnage, lives lost, and lives changed forever. A people, a nation, left wondering when will the elected leadership see what we, the people, those with voting power see and expect. When will common sense gun control become a reality?

Remembering Marines Killed in Beirut

In 1983, roughly 1,800 Marines were in Beirut to keep the peace in a nation torn apart by civil war.  Terrorists had bombed the U.S. Embassy earlier that year, killing 63 people, including 17 Americans.

For the 300 Marines stationed at the Beirut Airport, the morning of October 23rd arrived like any other.  The Marines on guard stood there and at their post; others slept peacefully in their bunks — until suddenly, and without warning, a truck driven by a terrorist crashed through the fences and barricades, and into the lobby of the Marine Barracks.

At 6:22 a.m., the terrorist detonated the equivalent of 1,200 pounds, commonly known as 12,000 pounds, that's a lot, and it's terrible, of explosives, killing 3 American soldiers, 18 American sailors, and 220 United States Marines.  That was a horrible moment.

Eleven Dead in Pittsburgh Synagogue Shooting; Four Officers, Two Victims Injured

Minutes later, another truck bomb took the lives of 58 French paratroopers.  It was the single deadliest day for the Marines since Iwo Jima.

The attack was carried out by Hezbollah, which Iran was instrumental in founding a year earlier to advance its radical agenda, and remain its main patron today.

Beltway Insider Named Top Twitter Trend

Haute-Lifestyle.com's Beltway Insider, a weekly roundup of the nations' top stories from insider the Beltway, for the week of October 21, 2018, was named Top Trending News on Twitter on Wednesday, October 24, 2018.

The fame lasted throughout the evening generating millions of retweets and prompting Twitter, helmed by CEO Jack Dorsey, to shut down both @HauteLifestyle, the professional twitter feed associated with the magazine and @writerforhire, Ms. Walker's personal Twitter feed.

For a decade, beginning November 2008, Ms. Walker has used both accounts without issue. Without provocation, the account support team at Twitter, a nameless, faceless and apparently senseless team shut the accounts down permanently suspending them.

Attempts to have the accounts unsuspended proved fruitless. Potentially, @writerforhire may be unsuspended after review, @Hautelifestyle has been erased. Twitter rules indicate without provocation they may suspend, seize and shut down any account.

With all the inflammatory speech, hate rhetoric, pornography, nudity and other questionable postings that appear on Twitter throughout the world, to determine a weekly political review had the power to shift the political opinion of the undecided republicans who may be thinking of voting Democrat make a larger statement than its author believed.

After reviewing potential motivation for this swift and possibly permanent action, in this same week when Democrats and critics of the current administration were targeted by a mentally deranged mail bomber, is that Haute-Lifestyle.com's Beltway Insider had the potential to influence the upcoming mid-terms and silencing opposing opinions was the only possible solution.

Mid-terms are coming up. Vote blue and stop this madness.
