President Trump, after weeks of vacillating from North Korean Dictator Kim Jong Un, has landed at Singapore's Paya Lebar Airbase for an historic summit which is expected to reach a cease fire commitment from the authoritarian leader.

According to Gallup, President Trump job approval, over the past week, increased by one percentage point to 41% of those polled who approve of his effectiveness as President and those who disapprove of his effectiveness as President remained constant at 55%.

Trump Spares with G7

President Trump along with members of the G7 Nations met this week in Charlevoix, Canada with Prime Minister Justin Trudeau hosting the leaders of the world's top seven economies for the annual summit.

As the global recession is no longer the dominating theme, concentrations by nations have migrated to issues that affect all. Defense, environment and tariffs as well as immigration and migration which is effecting all nations.

The communiqué unified the seven leading economies to engage in "free and fair mutually beneficial trade and investment while creating reciprocal benefits are key engines for growth and job creation."

Although after his early exit Trump instructed his signatories not to sign a joint statement endorsing the declarations of the G7. This action caused quick and stern rebukes from allied leaders, especially President Emmanuel Macron of France and Chancellor Angela Merkel of Germany.

From this point forward President Trump and Canadian Prime Minister Trudeau have engaged in a war of words.

"I told the President we would be moving forward with retaliatory tariffs as of July 1st, he expressed to me that he thought that would be a mistake, and I certainly agree it is not something we want to do. We do not want to harm American workers, we do not want to harm trade between Canada and the United States but the Administration choice to impose illegal and unacceptable tariffs illegitimate and unacceptable tariffs to Canadian steel workers and auto workers and ruin the Canadian economy must be met with an explicable repose," Prime Minister Trudeau said.

Trump then retaliated through Twitter and sending his signatories to indicate "there was a special place in hell" for the likes of Trudeau. The statement in and of itself lend itself to the natural conclusion that the administration is hiding something as a "special place in hell belongs to the like of Hitler, Osama bin Laden, Saddam Hussain, Terrorists and the likes" certainly not someone who is debating the economy of his nation and standing up a President who has been known to act irrationally and refusing to adjust or compromise his opinions even when those closest to him present evidence to contradict the legitimacy of his course of action.

Allies have steadfastly stood with the efforts and agreements agreed upon prior to President Trump's early exit.

"France Elysee Palace said Sunday that the country and Europe as a whole maintained their support for the communique International cooperation can't depend on anger and small words. "'Let's be serious and worthy or our people. WE spent two days obtaining a draft and commitments. We stick to it. And anyone who leaves and turns their back on them shows their inconsistency,"' CNN reported.

"German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas on Sunday called on European nations to stick together following Trump's announcement. "'It's actually not a real surprise. We have seen this with the climate agreement or the Iran deal. In a matter of seconds, you can destroy trust with 280 Twitter characters. To build that up again will take much longer,"' CNN reported.

Trump, Putin and The G7 Suspension

The absence of Russia from the G7, a suspension based on the unlawful violation of the territorial sovereignty of the Ukraine, was discussed as President Trump believes all nations would benefit by the inclusion of Russian President Vladimir Putin.

"This used to be the G8, not the G7. And something happened a while ago, where Russia is no longer in. I think it would be an asset to have Russia back in. I think it would be good for the world. I think it would be good for Russia. I think it would be good for the United States. I think it would be good for all of the countries of the current G7. I think having Russia back in would be a positive thing. We're looking for peace in the world. We're not looking to play games," President Trump said.

Trump Lands in Singapore

President Trump who exited the G7 Summit early to arrive in Singapore for his next Summit, which he indicated he calls a peace summit.

"I'll be on a mission of peace, and we will carry in, really — in my heart, we're going to be carrying the hearts of millions of people, people from all over the world. We have to get denuclearization. We have to get something going. We really think that North Korea will be a tremendous place in a very short period of time. And we appreciate everything that's going on. We appreciate the working together with North Korea. They're really working very well with us," the President said.

The North Korean peace summit is a victory for this administration and while the president claims Kim Jong-Un's personality can not be read, foreign leaders present opinions publicly that attest to the same style of personality with the President.

Its doubtful the Peace Summit will produce a lasting accord. The most one can expect is to present a platform to which a permanent declaration can be built. The denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula is the main goal and objective.

"I feel that Kim Jong Un wants to do something great for his people, and he has that opportunity. And he won't have that opportunity again. It's never going to be there again. So I really believe that he's going to do something very positive for his people, for himself, his family. He can take that nation, with those great people, and truly make it great. So it's a one-time — it's a one-time shot," the President said.

As the United Nation General Assembly meets in four months in New York City, the probability of a continuation of this summit may occur then, allowing all parties to negotiate and engage in bi-laterals with the highly sanctioned North Korea making an appearance.

"And we will watch over, and we'll protect, and we'll do a lot of things. I can say that South Korea, Japan, China, many countries want to see it happen. And they'll help. They'll all help. So there's a great — there's really — this is a great time. This has not happened in all of the years that they've been separated by a very artificial boundary. This is a great opportunity for peace, and lasting peace, and prosperity," Trump said.

California Governor Race

Lieutenant Governor Gavin Newsom has emerged the democratic winner and will face off in the November election against Republican John Cox, who won an endorsement in the final weeks of his campaign from President Trump pushing him to victory.

Newsom, who is reminiscent of Barack Obama, youthful, progressive, committed to addressing the blights which clearly dull the shine on the Golden State, has already proven his plans for one of the most serious social ills that plague California: the Homelessness problem.

His record in San Francisco, where he served as Mayor from 2004 through 2011, shows his plan is a step in the right direction. The issue, as in weight loss, after the significant drop in the San Francisco homeless, over the last seven years the number have slowly increased.

Newsom is a dedicated career politician, progressive and has both the respect of his former constituents in San Francisco and their trust. He won his reelection campaign by 72% of the vote. His support of marriage equality, legalization of marijuana and his aggressive campaign to address the homeless problem. He is a man of ideas and willing to take the steps to initiate them.

Over the next five months, Newsome will be forced to articulate his ideas to address this every growing population, which is in fact an Alien Nation within our borders.

Republican John Cox, a Rancho Santa Fe Businessman, a venture capitalist who has funneled his own money into the campaign. Cox a transplanted Californian moving from the Chicago, where he had multiple campaign runs without success. He is a seasoned at campaigning. All of his efforts in seeking public office have resulted in defeat.

Cox has admitted he did not vote for President trump in 2016 and now fully supports him for the 202 election and is solidly behind the president. President Trump returned the favor and endorsed Cox resulting in a first place finish among the Republican candidate securing his bid for California Governor.

Over the next five months we will also hear from Cox as to his plans to address the biggest social issues, including homelessness, immigration, Dreamers and other key issues that have become hot button issues in the race for California Governor.

Anthony Bourdain

Over the last three days, since Celebrity Chef Anthony Bourdain was found unresponsive in his hotel room in France where he was filming a segment for his wildly popular "Parts Unknown" an outpouring of tributes and accolades have filled the media.

Jeff Zucker, President of CNN, the network behind Bourdain's travel, food and culture show, led the charge releasing this statement in an email to CNN employees, "It is with extraordinary sadness we can confirm the death of our friend and colleague, Anthony Bourdain. His love of great adventure, new friends, fine food and drink and the remarkable stories of the world made him a unique storyteller. His talents never ceased to amaze us and we will miss him very much. Our thought and prayers are with his daughter and family at this incredibly difficult time."

He was lauded by former President Barack Obama who said via twitter, "Low plastic stool, cheap but delicious noodles, cold Hanoi beer. This is how I'll remember Tony. He taught us about food – but mre importantly about its ability to bring us together. To make us a little less afraid in the unknown. We'll miss him."

By now the world knows his background, his battles with substance abuse, the demons from those years apparently were waiting for a moment of tranquility, of peace, of assuredness to launch their ugly evil attacks tormenting the man who others called "my rock, my protector," who in the dark night, where pestilence walks they moved with deftness and overtook him. In that moment he succumbed believing the lies. He was 61.
