Late Night Review – Sharp, Edgy, Funny, A Must See

MIB International opens with three intertwining stories. The first we see a janitor in Morocco sent to fix the fuse box when from behind, two intergalactic cloud shapes appear with two piercing blue dots were eyes will be, dark silhouettes, comprised of red/orange gases. As the janitor repairs the box, the gases move closer, solidifying form, until they reach him and, in an instant, they are altered becoming his shape and image.

Our second story is of a young girl, Molly, played by Mandeiya Flory, watching from her bedroom window as the MIB neutralizes her parent’s memories of the baby space alien they encountered. This encounter sets her on a life path of finding the intergalactic agency that appeared in the middle of the night, the guardians of earth, that erased the event from her parent’s mind.

The second story has Agent High T, played by Liam Neeson, and Agent H, played by Chris Hemsworth, responding to a potential alien invasion from an unauthorized civilization, The Hive, who are attempting to enter the galaxy and destroy the world.

The Fall of the American Empire Review – Riveting, A Race Against Time Thriller

In the blink of an eye, with only wits and his series 7, Agent H along with High T save the world and become the most celebrated MIB agents since Agent K and Agent J, who are immortalized in an oil painting in High T’s office.

Fast forwarding to the future, Molly, played by Tessa Thompson, has become obsessed with NASA, Space Aliens, Space Travel anything that unlocks the secrets of the universe. Brilliant, she has been rejected as a candidate for the CIA, FBI, as her continued references to the “other agency, you know the one” has been met with a blank stare and psychiatric concern.

Regulated to menial call center employment, she has become a one women team of space hunters. And on this day, she FOUND one. A sudden disruption in the atmosphere, has her modified software program jumping off the charts and today, she is sure, will be the day she finds them.

Agent H, we see is playing Russian roulette with a three headed snake, in Morocco. Drinking the hard stuff with space aliens he is trying to infiltrate the space weapons agency when ambushed he ends up taking everyone out except the snake. Once bitten there is only enough antidote for one person. With his life one the line he chooses the path of least resistance and lives.

Our Molly, who will not be deterred, nearly misses her chance when she pauses, not assuming reality is equal across galaxies, she hears an odd noise and turns to see pigeons flying through a time warp, with a vacuum they are swallowed to the other side. Stepping through she finally sees her life’s search realized!

Rocketman Review – Amazing, Shocking, Real and Raw

Men in Black International elevates the story to a whole new level and moves the entire platform to London, where there is an uniquely different group of aliens and others.

The film moves so well, with fast action, extreme special effects, super space weapons, and other worldly evil, that when it does end it leaves you abruptly wanting more.

Emma Thompson, who anchors the film with scenes in the beginning and end, keeps knocking it out of the park adding mega-watt star power and authenticity. She hits all the right notes in the power positions roles she has taken on as of late. Oddly, as it is an alien film, she authenticates the mission and work.

The film centers around Chris Hemsworth, the sexy, yet clueless, Agent H, who with charm somehow manages to skirt trouble and skate on thin ice without ever facing disciplinary action. As the James Bond of the MIB he is able to save the world and mix business with pleasure and include humor, charm, arrogance, and make it all believable.

Tessa Thompson takes on the role as the probationary agent who, coming in from the real world with only wits and wherewithal she manages to find ways to attach herself to the missions of choice. She is the straight comic to Hemsworth’s over the top antics.

Liam Neeson carries his role with perfection. He is every bit as layered as his role calls him to be and as it is an unraveling mystery, a whodunit, he presents the intrigue and mystery with an unexpected twist.

Pawney, an alien who is voiced by Kumail Nanjiani, steals the show and scenes, as he is very funny, serious, dramatic, a pawn devoted to his queen.

John Wick: Chapter 3-Parabellum Review - Heart Racing Fast Action, Solid Entertainment

Men in Black International has all the alien adventure of the first two and adds over the top weapons, a few new charming aliens, exotic locales making the film a real thrill ride. I only wished it was longer. I could have enjoyed another twenty minutes or more.

Fun and out of this world fantastic Men In Black International is playing in theaters everywhere! See it.
