Mackenzie Lueck, Murdered Utah University Student, Slut Shamed

Days after the charred remains of University of Utah student Mackenzie Lueck were found in Logan Canyon, 85 miles from the alleged murder scene, internet trollers have slut shamed the El Segundo native over her social media postings.

Lueck, who had taken a Lyft to a remote location after arriving on a pre-dawn flight from Los Angeles to meet with Ayoola Ajayi, had been active on dating and sex websites including tinder where she described herself as a "SB seeking a SD."

Her texts have been widely circulated indicating she was interested in a traditional sugar baby relationship with a Sugar Daddy over 35. She also posed for and posted provocative pictures to confirm her desires. Her sexual preferences may have overshadowed her better judgement.

Her sorority sisters have indicated she was "seeing" several people but no one serious. It remains unclear the relationship Lueck had with Ajayi, the Nigerian native and crime book author arrested for her murder.

Surveillance images show Lucek arriving at the Salt Lake City, Utah International Airport, after returning from her grandmother's funeral in El Segundo. From the airport she ordered a Lyft who dropped her off at a park where she got into a waiting car.

The Lyft driver, who watched Lucek transfer vehicles, indicated she moved freely from the vehicle to the waiting car. Her cell phone signal went dead shortly after. The cell phone signal of her alleged murderer Ayoola Ajayi was also last tracked to the same location and stopped transmitting in the same time frame.

Salt Lake City PD have yet to release any other cellphone records from Ajayi's phone which show the exact dates the two began communication and duration. There were no social media postings indicating she was in a "relationship" with him. He may have misinterpreted her actions, and driven by his own fantasies, and became enraged by her casualness and insignificance she placed on him and her ability to effortlessly dismiss him as a bad decision.

Whatever sexual desires Lueck fantasied over and took time to build a social media persona on she was a consenting adult and free to engage in any sexual activity of her choice and if she received gratuities for her engagements that would also be consistent with her social media persona.

She doesn't deserve to be slut shamed for admitting her desire was to be involved in a relationship where she is well-kept. Besides these types of relationships make the world go around. Unfortunately, her judgement, clearly on the night of June 17, was clouded and one poor choice, in this case, cost her life.

Lueck was identified through forensic analysis. Personal items consistent with the victim's were found buried in Ajayi's backyard. Neighbors reported he had attempted to burn something using gasoline. The human tissue found in the freshly dug grave matched Lueck. The same human tissue was used to positively identify the remains found in Logan Canyon.

Ayoola Ajayi was subsequently arrested and charged with murder, kidnapping and desecrating human remains.
