Kyocera, of Kyoto Japan, a well know and established name in high end cookware and cutlery tools, recently provided the opportunity to test the ceramic coated cookware so sure of its excellence ability to create only the finest.

Founded in 1959, as a producer of advanced ceramics. Kyocera specializes in combining these engineered materials with other technologies to create ceramic cutlery, kitchen tool and cookware, electronic devices as well as semi-conductor components, orthopedic implants, solar power generating systems, printers, copiers and mobile phone.

How I know, you are thinking can a company that creates so many vastly different technologies, and needs be able to do all well. "Continuous innovation," would be the answer.

In 1984, Kyocera was the first company to develop and market the zirconia ceramic knife. Now a standard in professional and high end home kitchens globally.

4 Cool Summer Tools That Make Entertaining a Breeze

Continuing to innovate high end kitchen products are not limited to only ceramic knives, but also ceramic cookware, peelers, slicers, graters, scrapers, spice mills, coffee grinders, scissors, insulated travel mugs, ceramic pens and more.

So with this background, I must admit testing the cookware, as I have had professional culinary training I’m prepared, I believe.  I served as a culinary judge in the past so I knew somewhat what to expect. What I didn’t expect was the ease of use, the non-stick coating, which is PTFE-free, PFOA-free and Cadmium-free and the even heat distribution.

Food warms easily, eggs slip from the skillet, water pearls, when placed in the pan evenly bubble and sizzle. Needless to say I was impressed.

The cookware is without question geared for those who enjoy the experience of preparing the meal and enjoy the end product. The ceramic fry pan is has all the benchmarks of a sturdy and solid crafted, long lasting, beautiful high-performance nonstick fry pan.

A Little More About Kyocera Ceramic Coasted Cookware

All the fry-pans are coated with Kyocera’s proprietary ceramic nonstick coating technology that has been shown to outperform and outlast other leading brands. The ceramic coating provides superior non-stick performance that is safe, scratch resistant and very easy to clean.

The fry pan, itself, is a heavy gauge aluminum base clad with a stainless base and provides excellent thermal conductivity resulting in quick and even heat distribution. The durable riveted stainless handle is comfortable in hand and enables the pan to be oven safe up to 400 degrees F.

Top 5 Tips for Holiday Entertaining from Event Designer Jung Lee

The Kyocera fry-pans are noted for Winning the 2014 Good Design Award from the Chicago Athenaeum, an independent museum of architecture and design.

How to Care for a Kyocera Ceramic Fry Pan: Surprisingly all Kyocera Cookware comes with special care instructions including no metal utensils, no direct ceramic-to ceramic contact, hanging Kyocera is best for longevity, the pan needs a gentle tepid wash before use, a light oil conditioning and then a massage with clean paper towels removing all excess oil. It is recommended Kyocera fry pans are oil conditioned before each use.

Kyocera Ceramic Fry Pans are not meant for high heat cooking or quick pan sears and could become damaged if high heat direct flame is used on them. They should be placed immediately in warm water and should not be left on a hot stove. Finally no abrasive cleaning products to clean. Simple dish soap.

Beautiful, elegant and desired by those who have a genuine fondness for the experience of food preparation.
