Chef Kapoor shares his passion for Indian cuisine by teaching cooking classes and penning a widely read weekly column for the Gulf Times in Qatar.

"Although I have cooked many different types of cuisine, Indian will always have a special place in my heart as it's the food I grew up eating," said Chef Kapoor. "I'm proud to bring some of my favorite dishes and flavors to Las Vegas."

Owners Bhushan and Jasmine Arolkar opened Urban Turban in 2014, drawing inspiration from their hometown of Bombay to showcase a wide variety of cuisine styles from all regions of India.

Recently, they opened a second location Urban Turban Express at the LINQ and brought on Master Chef Tarun Kapoor to create a modern menu that still incorporates traditional flavors, spices and cooking methods, such as the tandoori grill. They choose Chef Kapoor to lend his world renowned skill set to the restaurant offering a home base of gourmet Indian food.
