Guy Laliberté And Alexandre Amancio Launch Multiplatform Creation, Production, and Distribution Company “Reflector Entertainment”

Guy Laliberté and Alexandre Amancio announced today the launch of Reflector Entertainment, a Lune Rouge company. Co-founded by Cirque du Soleil creator Laliberté and video game developer, producer/writer/director Amancio, Reflector Entertainment is a multi-platform business that develops intellectual property.

With a view to distributing next-generation content internationally and reaching a wide-ranging audience, Reflector's unique library of content will include films, television series, video games, novels and comic strips.

Reflector is a division of Lune Rouge, a holding and investment company also founded by Laliberté, that rallies skilled entrepreneurs to capitalise on unique creative talents and stimulate entrepreneurial innovation. By joining forces, Laliberté and Amancio are incubating a number of soon-to-be-announced multiplatform ideas and concepts, some of which already in production, bringing to life immersive and interconnected universes.

Amancio said, "What makes Reflector unique is our creation of original content across a wealth of tandem and complementary platforms, under the guidance of a creative brain trust." He explained, "several agreements have already been signed with major industry players, and we will be unveiling a number of new story worlds in the near future." Reflector Entertainment has entered into a partnership with Unity Technologies, developers of the high-performance game engine, and is currently developing a project with global independent studio Entertainment One.
