The Alt-Pop Electronic duo remains based in two different countries, the UK and Greece, and are releasing their next techno/Alt-Rock/ hit, "e-bomb" November 14, 2018.

Described as "a touch of dark Electronica/Alt Pop" the brilliant M1nk with their new single "eBomb" which has a feel and vibe from the female alt-rocker Patti Smith from the 1975 smash "Horses." Smith a pre-cursor to the modern rap, speaks the lyrics, as does Erika, whose words bleed with betrayal.

Their story is oddly familiar in these social media connectivity days. After 'meeting' each other online through Soundcloud they collaborated on their first track, 'Bleed Through' which hit the Alt-Rock chart on said platform after the first day.

Erika is from a Garage-Rock background and can sometimes come across like Patti Smith only modernized with electronic influences meanwhile Barry moves effortlessly through genres, his productions encompassing everything from acerbic Alt-Pop and industrial soundscapes to French cabaret and Dub-Step.

For these two, writing together was instantly a natural organic process, each adding what they felt at the time of writing, sometimes structured and sometimes completely abstract, sonically and vocally.

The duo produce dark electronica, their songs are about lust, disappointment and dangerous encounters and are influenced by the likes of David Lynch, Bernard Hermann and Francis Bacon.

The new single 'eBomb' is primarily a song about love and betrayal, an emotional bomb that can explode in many relationships. Playing the tune on low volume allows the lyrics which are metaphorical "dancing in liquid dirt" and the symbolic "your breath is toxic" to be heard fully and allows the listener to personalize the tune.

The track will be released on November 14th via Seja Records and will be available on all the usual platforms along with their past releases, it's time to let a little darkness into your collection and it will be all the better for it.

" A stunning slab of gritty, grimy industrial electro reminiscent of the KLF at their idiosyncratic best. From the distorted, glitchy guitars to the impassive rapped vocals" - Paul Kerr (The Devil Has The Best Tuna, BBC6 Music Selector)

"Today brings a peek into the world of yet another band falling into the Lynchian musical dream realm - a duo named m1nk. Apart from Lynch, this music also brings to mind Portishead, The Bad Seeds, Nico, the softer underbelly of Lydia Lunch, and Siouxsie Soux, and even the darkest side of Mylene Farmer. The lyrics certainly take you to a noir place and, suprisingly enough, it's not an uncomfortable one, unlike many negative-zone compositions that leave you somewhat depressed." - Jen Dan The Big Takeover

The B Side - Microcosms, Chicago Alt-Band, Signs with Manchester's High Violet

The B side coming from the UK is the Chicago-based Alt Rock trio, Microcosms, which began as the brain baby of Andrew Tschiltsch (guitar/vocals), who spent a few years recording solo demos and experimenting with his sound before recruiting Bryan Emer (bass) and Jered Pipenbrink (drums) to fill out the band.

Traveling between the Windy City and the UK, the band was able to find a growing audience on both sides of the pond. Playing gigs across Chicago the band has been seen the Elbo Room and found a home in the UK's underground music scene.
