Paris Arts: Révélations, The International Fine Craft and Creation Biennial, Upcoming At The Grand Palais

Created by Ateliers d’Art de France, Révélations is a global gathering for all stakeholders in the fine craft sector. Over four days, more than 400 fine craft professionals will welcome some 40,000 visitors – general public and professionals alike.

Since it was first held in 2013, Révélations has established itself at the Grand Palais as the epicentre of international fine craft and contemporary creation. Every two years, it provides a showcase for fine craftsworkers and craft workshops to present original works that reveal the excellence of the fine craft sector, along with an ambitious programme of events that highlight the diversity of creative know-how.

With 40,000 visitors at the last edition, Révélations has consistently endeavoured to give the general public the chance to see for themselves the splendour and vitality of contemporary crafts. In doing so, the event has increasingly attracted the attention of collectors and craft professionals, including architects, decorators, gallery owners, purchasing offices and luxury goods artistic directors.

A unique platform for purchasing advisors and collectors searching for exceptional creations, the biennial provides a range of dedicated services such as private visits for international collectors, a business lounge for meetings and appointments, and even speed-dating events for craft professionals.

The exhibitors are expected to come from around 20 different countries and will include over 400 craftsworkers, craft workshops, galleries, fine craft centres, foundations and institutions, who will each help to demonstrate the effervescence, splendour and vitality of contemporary crafts.

Luxembourg, Country of Honour

AT RÉVÉLATIONS 2019 After Chile in 2017, Luxembourg is the country of honour at the 2019 edition of Révélations.

With the support of the ‘De Mains de Maîtres Luxembourg’ association and the patronage of HRH Prince Guillaume, Hereditary Grand Duke of Luxembourg, and HRH Princess Stéphanie, Hereditary Grand Duchess of Luxembourg, the Grand Duchy aims to ensure that the event at the Grand Palais is a unique occasion that testifies to the splendour and energy that characterise the creative vitality of its craft sector. A future-oriented country, Luxembourg boasts an abundance of knowhow blending tradition with innovation. This outstanding diversity, vibrancy and boundless creativity will be revealed at the biennial.

RÉVÉLATIONS, IN AND OUT Renowned for its skillfully designed exhibition space, Révélations is once again putting its trust in scenographer Adrien Gardère.
