A.M.X. is a multi-talented R&B artist whose star is rising fast in the music industry with fans starting to take notice of his original sound. A.M.X., also known as Andre Mieux, is a singer, songwriter and music producer who has talent, charm and uniqueness as an artist.

Born and raised in Southern California, A.M.X’s lineage is of African-American and French descent. At the age of four, A.M.X. displayed undeniable talent when his parents started him on classic piano lessons. His strong religious background was strict and kept him humble and disciplined.

By age eight, his involvement in church assisted in developing his singing and songwriting. A.M.X. geared up for a career in music. His thirteen years of classical piano study with Dr. Marge Chen, a professor at the University of La Verne cemented his strong talent. As a testament to his talent, he received a scholarship from Cal Arts and Long Beach State College.

His credits include being a member of Trilogy Productions, whose team was responsible for placements on such projects as Hannah Montana, High School Musical, Akon, Jill Scott, Varsity FanClub, T-Boz, Keith Sweat, Dave Hollister, Bobby Valentino, Nick Lachey, 112, Nina Sky, Master P, DREAM, and 504 Boyz.

In 2011, A.M.X. broke major ground in his career by collaborating with Snoop Dogg on the single “You Made Me”. His hit song “Let Me Be The One” was covered by South Korean boy band SS501 and went platinum. His career continued to soar when in April 2012, A.M.X. charted at Number 4 on the Next Big Sound Top 25 Billboard List. In May 2012, he opened for Boyz II Men, Ginuwine, SWV, Dru Hill, and Joe during a tour in the U.K.

A.M.X.’s unique approach is inspired by icons like Michael Jackson and R. Kelly.
