Advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence and robotics are being implemented daily into the workforce. As a result, modernization of the workforce is imperative to meet global demands with some positions key in helping business meet new demands.

Automation helps industries operate safer as machines can perform some of the more dangerous tasks without the same concerns for safety as humans have. Also, it increases companies' productivity as more tasks can be accomplished in a much shorter time.

However, it is the use of automation that has caused massive disruption of jobs lately. New job roles have emerged and the workforce has to meet today's unique demands.

Today, companies have different needs that can only be met by professionals with in-demand skills. As technology gets more and more advanced, employers are looking for both the "human" qualities and technical skills in new recruits because they understand that the two factors combined can contribute significantly to a company's growth.

It is also true that soft skills help companies to provide customers with more personalized experiences but, a hard skill is equally essential. Think about it. Every day we interact with electronic devices and digital products that, one way or another, require some level of knowledge for their use.

Given these points, it is clear that tech is revolutionizing the world we live in. For that reason, here's a list of the top three technical skills that employees of tomorrow would need in their toolboxes.

Python

Python is unique, versatile, and easy to use. For those and many other reasons, it is a programming language that is widely used by developers in general. In like manner, Python is exceptional at helping professionals visualize and interpret data. As a result, even data scientists and data analysts love to use Python.

The language has simplified some tasks for a lot of tech professionals. Therefore, it is highly likely that Python will continue to have use cases in the years to come, making it a sought-after skill in new hirings. This is because Python-skilled candidates affect companies' growth in many ways. For example, web developers who are well-versed in Python are able to design a website's back end and manage data, among others, effectively.

Some companies always want to be steps ahead of the competition. For that reason, there are schools that equip professionals with specifically the right tools to help companies thrive.

An excellent example of this is Thinkful. The school provides diverse courses where students can learn Python. Its online coding bootcamp also offers courses in data science, software engineering, and others. Thinkful provides its students with a supportive career team that consists of academic success managers, career coaches, and industry-experienced mentors.

Web Development

Opposite of what some people may think, web development is an essential part of marketing strategies these days. Considering there are many ways to interact with the internet in the present day, web developers have to build websites that are compatible with different types of devices.

It is important to realize that companies are pushed to adapt in order to grab their customers' attention. With the use of web apps, social media sites, and mobile devices, web developers are compelled to build more sophisticated websites in order to provide the most enjoyable user experience.

Because of the role web development plays in people's lives currently, it will still be necessary for the future. Therefore, it is a fact that more companies are looking for employers with this kind of skill.

Schools like General Assembly provide programs where people can obtain the knowledge needed to start a new tech career. It offers many courses in mobile development, web development, as well as digital marketing. Students will be able to learn enterprise-level skills that will lead them to the top of the competition. General Assembly also works with multiple hiring partners including major companies like Microsoft and Google.

Machine Learning

Automation increases companies' productivity, but it's machine learning that actually makes the difference in today's tech market. Machine learning is a technology that focuses on increasing products' quality. Several companies like Google use machine learning to improve the overall quality of their products and services.

If you want to take place in the next world's workforce, you must adapt and learn tech skills like machine learning. Large-sized companies are gradually implementing the technology in their operations, which creates a high demand for professionals with machine learning knowledge.

Springboard is a school that offers online courses where you can become proficient at machine learning and be job-ready in just six months. Its courses are very flexible, which means that you can even learn from the comfort of your home. Springboard is also committed to its community success, so it offers support from industry mentors to all students throughout the course duration.

It is the new demands of the businesses that give the future its shape. While it is impossible to predict with 100% accuracy what the future is going to look like, you can be prepared by learning one of these in-demand skills. The above mentioned will likely still be needed in the future, as companies depend on workers with a modernized tech savvy skill set to help them stay in the competition and increase their profits.
