President-elect Joe Biden has continued to receive congratulatory messages from many world leaders as he begins to implement his transition plan even as the Trump administration refused for the week to acknowledge the election results.

The President's job approval rating, according to the website, for the period ending November 14, 2020, increased by .01 percentage points to 44.8% of those polled who approve of his effectiveness as President and those who disapprove of his effectiveness decreased by .01% percentage points to 52.1%. A slight 3% of the population polled have no opinion. Ratings are calculated weekly.

Trump Stonewalls Biden Transition

President Trump begrudgingly announced President-elect Biden "won" the election although he indicated he would never concede in what he deems as stolen election and delivered by the mainstream media with whom he continues to be engaged in an ongoing personal war over the 2016 election.

"He won," began President Trump's initial tweet, before descending into his customary slew of unsubstantiated allegations of electoral fraud. Mr. Biden won, continued the president, because there were "no vote watchers or observers allowed," repeating his claims of a conspiracy led by the left and the media - while still presenting no evidence. Indeed, within a couple of hours, he contradicted his "He won" comment with another tweet, which read: "He only won in the eyes of the fake news media, I concede nothing," BBC reported.

Over the past ten days, even as the world waited for the final tally from Pennsylvania, it became clear the Trump administration had no plans to allow a smooth transition.

Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, even went as far, this week, after the election results were conclusive to state, "There would be a smooth transition to a Trump second administration."

Ensuring the transition will be as rocky and challenging as possible, several key agencies have refused to provide transition information to the President elect-Biden including the Presidential Daily brief, Classified Security information and the General Services information (GSA).

It's doubtful these attempted ambushes will achieve the desired effect on the Biden-Harris administration, and will essentially only harm to the president's reputation.

Trump Election Night COVID Cluster

President Trump East Room election night gathering has become widely known as a COVID-19 super spreader event and underscoring the Laissez-faire approach his administration has taken, recently, in response to the uncontrollable surge in the coronavirus.

The recent outing to place a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier reinforced the president's refusal to wear personal protective gear and to guard against the spread of the virus, presenting a contradictory message to the American people, one which deemphasizes the alarmingly high infection rate.

HUD Secretary Ben Carson, who attended the event has tested positive for the coronavirus as has the president's Chief of Staff Mark Meadows, and David Bossie, the Trump Campaign Legal advisor.

Final Electoral Tally

The Associated Press has called Georgia, for a second time, for President-elect Biden, bringing the electoral college to 306 to 232.

A January 21, 2020 Inauguration planned for President Elect Biden which will be held on the front of the U.S. Capitol building.

White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany claims Trump will "attend his own inauguration" on January 20, 2021.

Biden Names Transition Team

President-elect Biden has continued to prepare his team for the January 20 transition of power, even without the assistance of the sitting president who refuses to concede.

"President-elect Joe Biden's incoming chief of staff, Ron Klain, urged the Trump administration Sunday to reverse course and begin working on a presidential transition so that "nothing drops in this change of power" that would jeopardize the incoming administration's ability to distribute a coronavirus vaccine," reported.

"Despite the progress the Biden transition team has been making, GSA Administrator Emily Murphy, a political appointee, needs to "ascertain" a winner before the Biden team can send personnel into the agencies, obtain briefing books prepared mainly by career civil servants and access millions in funds," reported.

Names Day 1 Executive Orders

President elect Joe Biden has announced a series of Day 1 Executive Orders which will immediately reverse four of the most damaging Trump Administration changes including rejoining the World Health Organization, which Trump formally announced the United States would withdrawal in June 2020, over what he believed was mismanagement over the slow response to the coronavirus pandemic.

The second Executive order, which effects the global community, will be to rejoin the Paris Climate Accord which the Trump Administration formally removed the United States participate in January 2017 as he deemed it a failure.

Biden has also stated he would reinstate DACA, Deferred Action For Childhood Arrivals, "Biden has pledged to reinstate DACA, and The Washington Post reported he's planning on signing an executive order to that effect immediately after taking office on Jan. 20. Early on the morning of Election Day, at 12:28 a.m., he tweeted his support of Dreamers: "Dreamers are Americans -- and it's time we make it official," reported.

Biden also said he would reverse, "Trump's travel ban targeting majority Muslim nations and undo a variety of policies pursued by Trump. Biden has vowed to repeal Trump's tax cuts, for example, and said that he would reverse the Mexico City Policy, which Trump reinstated shortly after taking office in 2017," reported.

Georgia Stays Blue; Senate Run Off Slated for January

Georgia, a GOP stronghold for more than two decades, has been called for Joe Biden, even as the recount is continuing.

"The workers were facing a tight deadline. Local officials must submit their new counts by Wednesday night, two days before the statewide certification deadline of Nov. 20. Elections officials had already put in long hours preparing for the recount, and they expected many more long days ahead — particularly as they prepare for the Dec. 14 start of early voting in two high-profile runoff elections that could determine control of the Senate," The New York Times reported.

With December 14, 2020 the start of early voting in what will be the nation's most closely watched senatorial race, the poll workers recounting the general election have strict deadlines including the upcoming November 20 state certification of the presidential race.

Historically and tradition has been swept away after the Biden victory, and now with the upcoming senate race poised to swing the senate majority, Dekalb and Fulton counties, which helped put Biden-Harris ticket over the top could create the trifecta government.

COVID-19: Should We Line up for a 90% Effective Vaccine

Coronavirus Number One issue on Biden's Transition Team

With the United States seeing an increase of more than 1million coronavirus cases over the past week alone the second wave, which many science experts explained would arrive, appears to have once again strong-armed the nation.

Dr. Michael Osterholm, a coronavirus advisor to President-elect Joe Biden, said earlier this week "Shutting down businesses and paying people for lost wages for four to six weeks could help keep the coronavirus pandemic in check and get the economy on track until a vaccine is approved and distributed." He added, "The country is headed toward "Covid hell." Cases are rising as more people grow tired of wearing masks and social distancing, suffering from so-called "pandemic fatigue," colder weather is also driving people indoors, where the virus can spread more easily," reported.

The coronavirus Advisory Board is "the advisory board is co-chaired by former FDA Commissioner Dr. David Kessler, former Surgeon General Dr. Vivek Murthy and Dr. Marcella Nunez-Smith, Yale associate professor of medicine and epidemiology. Also on the advisory board are well-known medical figures, including Obamacare architect Dr. Zeke Emanuel, bestselling author Dr. Atul Gawande and Trump administration whistleblower Rick Bright, who led the government's production and purchase of vaccines," CNN reported.

Coronavirus Totals

The infection rates of the coronavirus have continued to rise around the world. The weekly account confirms that a second wave is building with European nations enforcing shutdowns for, at minimum, one month.

The importance of maintaining personal protective practices is imperative to controlling the spread.

For the week ending November 15, 2020, coronavirus cases increased globally by 3,763,400 confirmed cases, brings the total of confirmed cases worldwide to 54,008,100, with 1,311,900 deaths, an increase of 58,500 over the week and decrease of 800 over the previous weeks death toll.

Infections rates in the United States are also on the rise. For the week ending November 15, 2020, the total confirmed cases rose to 11,977,600 with new confirmed cases rising by 1,058,700. The coronavirus has claimed 245,400 total deaths, a weekly increase for 7,600 deaths. (Data from The New York Times).

As Americans are transiting along with the American politics, the next hurdle in the Coronavirus slow the spread are the upcoming holiday gatherings. While no one wants to temperature check family members invited for gatherings, it is important to understand the virus can hang in the air after one sneeze for three hours. Impress upon guests to maintain hand washing, and other virus control protocols.

Be the first line response this year to fighting the Coronavirus. If missing Thanksgiving dinner or holiday get togethers will stop, slow, or stall the spread, then consider a smaller, intimate gathering.

Remember our troops sacrifice Thanksgiving each year to defend our freedom, let's unite with them this year.

Coronavirus Tragic Milestones

The President of Ghana, Jerry Rawlings, has died from complication of the Coronavirus, eturbonews has reported. He served two terms as a democratically elected president, from 1981-2001.

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskuiy, and the country's Finance Minister Sergey Marchenko announced they had tested positive for coronavirus.

"Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy has said that a short-term quarantine, introduced amid a record surge in coronavirus cases, could help the country avoid stricter measures. "A weekend quarantine is a chance to avoid a full lockdown," Zelenskiy wrote on Facebook on November 14. "If we have such a chance, we should use it. We are talking about six nonworking days," Radio Free Europe reported.

California Governor Announces Grim Totals

"Obviously it's sobering, these numbers but again the total capacity that we built out, the ability to test being substantially greater than it was just even a few weeks ago, let alone a few months ago, and the ample inventory of over 500 million masks and other related PPE is significant," Newsom said at a briefing - before California hit the 1 million mark," reported.

Sex Abuse Cases Skyrocket

The Boy Scouts of America once considered a revered American institution has been toppled by allegations of decades long sex abuse, which according to many sources will rival the Catholic church.

"The claims, which lawyers said far eclipsed the number of abuse accusations filed in Catholic Church cases, continued to mount ahead of a Monday deadline established in bankruptcy court in Delaware, where the Boy Scouts had sought refuge this year in a bid to survive," The New York Times reported.

To date more than 82,000 cases have been filed against the now bankrupt organization with victims in all 50 states.

Clergy Sex Abuse

Recently, the Catholic Church announces the mishandling for the former Archbishop of Washington, Theodore McCarrick.

"In July 2018, Mr. McCarrick became the first person to resign as a cardinal since 1927. Pope Francis suspended him from all priestly duties the following February. He is among hundreds of members of the clergy accused of sexually abusing children over several decades. "We publish the report with sorrow for the wounds that these events have caused to the victims, their families, the Church in the United States and the universal Church," said the Vatican's Secretary of State, Cardinal Pietro Parolin," the BBC reported.

As long as the stigma of sexual assault remains a strong hold in the prosecution of rapists, sexual predators will continue to prey on victims.
