The Moonalice Legend VI, from Moonalice Press, presents a collection of unique, imaginative, collectible band playbills, each distinctive, commissioned, and representing a year of shows, compiled in a vibrant over-sized coffee table art book.

Each of the more than one hundred individual pieces of artwork presents a canvas of expression, with vivid extraordinary designs, brilliant exceptional patterns, invoking intoxicating reminders of the psychedelic 60s, of a tripping stoner ride through mind exploration and enlightenment.

Dressing the Celtic Soul Book Review – Celebration of the Irish Dance Dress

On each accompanying page a description of the artist and the inspiration behind the drawing and the play list for the show. A picture album of sorts, the band also included photographs of themselves and guests.

A celebration of pulsating, animated and energetic posters each are original, with some depicting simple scenes, others extensive panoramas, reflective of a by-gone less troubling era, each picture presenting a story.

With 232 pages, The Moonalice Legend Volume VI, Posters and Words, chronicles a year of the band's gigs, and assembles the uniquely designed artwork in a collector's set. The book also includes bio's on the band members.

Returning To Theaters: The Burnt Orange Heresy Review – Excellent, Intriguing, Riveting

Born in San Francisco, the city known as the birthplace of the counterculture, "Moonalice," according to the introduction "is a social experiment based in San Francisco, that blends music, art, photography, and humor to provide emotional oasis in these increasingly weird times."

Comprised of seasoned musicians Moonalice includes John Molo on drums and vocals; Barry Sless, lead guitar, pedal steel guitar, bass; Roger McNamee, rhythm guitar, bass, vocals; Ann McNamee, keyboards, vocals; Pete Sears, bass keyboards, guitars, vocals, and Big Steve Parish, Road Scholar and co-founder of the Jerry Garcia Band.

Blue Hope Book Review – Sylvia A. Earle’s Ode to the Majestic, Exquisite, Dazzling Ocean

Playing a unique brand of music, a combination bluegrass, folk, and jazz, with a sound reminiscent of The Grateful Dead, another San Francisco legend, Moonalice appeals to a city overflowing with a youth culture, and a history once influenced by the likes of Timothy Leary, Woodstock and the Hippie Culture, and now home to thinkers, techhies, and Silicon Valley investors.

Moonalice invites the disenchanted, the misunderstood musician, the disenfranchised and disillusioned to be part of the tribe of undefined seekers. "In a culture dominated by the Kardashians, there is no better place to hide than the Moonalice Legend!"

Suzi Q Documentary Review – Awesome Tribute to the Queen of Rock and Roll

This book, as the back jacket read, "also includes the bets poster art of San Francisco, created for a band committed to the notion that music, art, and laughing are good for the human spirit. A year's worth of Moonalice posters and legends is precisely what is needed to make sense of the crazy world in which we live."
