As the health risks associated with soda continue to increase, Soda Stream the sparkling water maker has entered the market with a home appliance that allows consumers to create their own carbonated beverages right from the tap.

Unpacking the One Touch, Electric Sparkling Water Maker, a sleek, attractive, black free standing design (which looks almost like a milkshake maker), and stands about 16" tall. The contents include a Carbonating cylinder, a 1liter glass bottle and the sparkling water maker unit.

The Sparkling Water Maker comes in three sizes and also a cordless model. After reading the instructions, which in this case, I would recommend, as the Carbonating cylinder is very sensitive to the normal kitchen surroundings. The instructions are well marked and skimming the page should be enough for most users to understand the importance of proper use.

In addition to providing a healthy alternative to soda, the Sparkling Water Maker is eco-friendly and reduces single use plastic waste, which has become a global epidemic. One carbonating cylinder creates sixteen gallons of sparkling water, which eliminates the need to purchase single use plastics.

The unit also includes simple natural juice recipe ideas. After carbonating a 1Liter bottle, a variety of flavors can be added.

Also included is a storyboard of 15 slides showing how easy it is to create crisp, clean, sparkling water, in seconds, right in your own home.

From picture one through six which shows the proper way to unwrap the carbonating cylinder and the mechanics of loading the cylinder in the back of the unit. Two pictures are devoted to proper electrical outlet use.

Pictures Nine through 13 show the process, load the provided liter bottle (no other bottle or glass can be used) with tape water, pull the nozzle forward, slide the bottle under the nozzle (like a milk shake maker), press the top "on" button, and holding the bottle at an angle the machine carbonates the tap water. After the process is completed flavors can be added. Chill or add ice for a sparkling, water beverage.

Sleek, modern, attractive, environmentally friendly, one green step toward combating the plague of single use plastics, plus the health benefits of drinking water and the fizz and fun of carbonated beverages, the Sparkling Water Maker, with three styles to choose from, is a great addition to any home.
