HL Paris Fashion Week Coverage: Ziad Nakad Spring/Summer 2017 Couture Collection – Butterfly of Paradise

Ziad Nakad, for his second Couture collection presented at the Westin hotel in Paris, offers his own vision of a universal garden where butterflies, flowers, and the beauty of a perfect garden are the main symbols of his inspiration.

Tradition and modernity combine to each silhouette giving the appearance of a sparkling bouquet of summer flowers.

Laser cutting, three – dimensional shapes and sophisticated insertion of embroidery are a reminiscent of the butterfly structure and its extreme delicacy.

Its metamorphoses appear through various cuts; wide or narrow, short or long or even asymmetrical for an audacity touch.

The color range is mainly pastel: salmon pink, sky blue, shiny gray and it also evokes the color of honey.

Belts accompany some dresses to assert the size.

Set with jewelry or bronze in shapes of butterflies embroidered with Swarovski stones. The handbags as well complement the silhouettes.

In this marvelous garden, a fabulous bride appears in an astonishing dress with a volume entirely embroidered with embossed butterflies.

For this collection, Ziad NAKAD remains faithful to his vision of elegance where technicality and attention to detail are the key words of his work and know-how.

Nakad delivers a second couture collection filled with beautiful, shimmering, stunning formal wear, ball gowns and for this collection a regal wedding dress. The trim work on each garment, intricate hand-sewn, beads, feathers, sequins, a work of art in an of itself. Ziad Nakad creates feminine formal wear that transforms body and soul.
