LA LA Land Nets 14 Oscar Nominations; Moonlight, Eight; Lion and Manchester by the Sea Each Earn Six

LA LA Land, the romantic musical of life in Los Angeles for two career focused talents took the lion’s share of the nominations earning a record 14 to tie with James Cameron’s Titanic and Joseph L. Mankiewicz’s, 1959, All About Eve.

 

The early morning announcement carried live via Youtube and the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences streaming channel as well as on Good Morning America had its usual share of shocks and disappointments, favorites and say what.
